What is this I’m hearing, Wayne Rooney could be making his way over here to the states? No, he’s going to the Chinese super league, wait back to Everton. There are so many rumors but that’s all they are. Rooney himself said he isn’t going anywhere. He wants to stay at Manchester United. It’s been a rough season for Rooney, but he has accomplished so much with the Reds. He’s had 549 appearances, 250 goals, and is the all time goal scorer for Man United. It’s safe to say that he will be a known as a legend.

I can’t see him making a move just yet, but again you never know. Money can make people do wild things. If the price is right, despite Rooney’s recent assurances, it is possible that he may make a move. I don’t think the Chinese league is likely to ever get Rooney to play there. I also don’t think that Manchester United would sell him to Everton. The most likely move that Rooney will make is to the U.S. to play in the MLS.

If Rooney came to the States to play it would be huge for the MLS, maybe it won’t be called The Retirement League. I’m sure Rooney would like living in the U.S., especially with the nice paycheck he is likely to receive.

As cliche as it sounds, only time will tell. We see unexpected things happen all the time in the transfer window.
