Wayne Rooney got the start in Sundays match vs Crystal Palace. It could possibly be his last game as a Manchester United player. He hasn’t gotten as much playing time this season as he would like and with all the talk of him on his way it seems likely that he will be gone by next season come.

Rooney has had a great career for United and has accomplished more then most players. Many seasons with double digit goals and a bunch of silverware to show. Rooney has been a great inspiration to the young players and fans of Manchester United. Breaking the record this year for most goals scored for the club at 253 goals topping Sir Bobby Charlton’s record at 249 goals.

His most memorable goal was in the Manchester Derby when he scored off a bicycle kick. This is still one of the most epic goals.

Where ever the road takes Wayne Rooney next season I’m sure he will make an impact. I would like to see him come play in the states for the MLS but thats my opinion. We will have to wait and see over the summer transfer window.
