For those of you who missed the Manchester United vs Chelsea game you missed one hell of a game. It was the best game I watched this season and in my opinion it was the best Man United played since the Fergie era. Both teams played hard and gave it all till the end of the game but United dominated for the most part. Mourinho put together an interesting lineup that know one expected and every player had their own role.

Herrera was on top of Hazard all game and shut him down. A well deserved man of the match. Kante was shut down by Pogba and wasn’t as effective as he’s been for most of the season. Rojo and Bailly held the center back down wit Darmien and Valencia on the back wings not letting any shots on target for De Gea. Chelsea haven’t had a game without a shot on goal in a couple years.

Young played well and so did Fellaini. Playing on the defensive side and holding their own. Chelsea couldn’t keep up with the two young lads at the top. Rashford and Lingard ran all over Chelsea’s backline. The pace between those two it’s incredible. They were running the whole time they were in and kept the defense on their toes. I wish we saw more Manchester United games like this.

Mourinho put together a great unpredictable lineup with great tactics to outsmart the Premier League leaders. It’s still the first year with United for Mourinho so I’m sure he is working out all the kinks. He usually starts making his biggest impact after first year so this brings a lot of hope for the team and next year looks very promising for the club and the fans. As a Manchester United fan myself I look forward for next week’s Derby.

In case you missed the goals here they are. Enjoy!
